Plot - 'Thanos' is the mightiest villain who tries to get all infinity stones to wipe out half of the universe. How the avengers tries to save the world from his plan forms the crux of the story.
Note - This is a spoiler-free review. As I don't have much Marvel Comics knowledge, I haven't compared the film with the comics.
'Avengers Infinity War' is an American Superhero film directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The trailer of the film created a great curiosity among the fans and general audience, which makes high-level expectations. This is the Biggest Hollywood Film of this year which sets a grand release all over the world yesterday.
Performance of the Star Cast - Robert Downey, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans delivers a their usual terrific performance. Mark Ruffalo gives his best in the given space and he scores well in the humour sequences. Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman and Chris Pratt delivers their convincing performance. Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen plays their part very well. Josh Brolin makes the characterisation of the powerful villain 'Thanos' more stronger. All the other actors in the film have done their job very well. Every superhero intro scene gets a massive response from the audience.
Technical Works - Trent Opaloch's cinematography looks so amazing in every scene. Jeffrey Ford and Matthew Schidmt handles the editing of the film. Their cuts looks so sharp and crisp, but in few places it should have been better. Alan Silvestri's background score gives an usual feel only, but it gives a good support for the action sequences. As usual, the Marvel maintains their standard with mind-blowing CG works.
Director's Involvement with the Script - Directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo focuses highly on the entertainment factor along with the plot. They follows the step-by-step procedure to introduce the characters, which doesn't confuse the audience. The screenplay team have done their job so perfectly, by executing it in an engaging and entertaining way. Both the directors and the screenplay team have given their best to satisfy both the general audience and Marvel Comics fans. Many dialogues gets a good applause from the audience.
Screenplay Execution - The films opens with a very good start by introducing the powerful Villain Thanos. After that, the introduction of every superhero comes into the film and the action sequences set for them gives a terrific experience to the audience. Both the humour and action sequences are balanced in a good way to make the screenplay more intriguing. The film makes a strong connect with the audience in each and every scene. Towards the climax, the screenplay takes a top gear and it makes us to enjoy to the core. The climax has strong action sequences along with some emotions.
Main Negatives of the Film - The father-daughter emotional scenes between Thanos and Gamora creates a small lagging in the film. As the entertainment makes a strong connect with the audience, we can forgive some minor flaws in the film easily.
Verdict
'Avengers Infinity War - Part 1' is a very good superhero entertainer, in which the entertainment is guaranteed in each and every scene of the film. The film makes you to celebrate the massive action sequences and also make you emotional in the climax. This film is a perfect summer treat to both the general audience and Marvel Comics fans. Everyone will enjoy the film. So, just book the tickets for this film and enjoy it in your nearby theatres with your loved ones.
Important Note - The film have some connection with the previous Marvel's superhero films. So, some of them may get little bit confusions in those scenes. If you haven't watched those films, you can watch the film in Tamil Dubbed version for easy understanding. The climax will look like an incomplete one for some audience. There is a sequel for this film. So, the remaining story will be explained in that.
