Taramani - Cut Short Review

Cast: Andrea Jeremiah, Vasanth Ravi, Anjali, Azhagam Perumal
Direction: Ram
Runtime: 2 hrs 30 mins

Director Ram, one of the brilliant directors in Tamil Cinema given a comeback after Thangameengal. Andrea Jeremiah made a bold attempt by choosing this role and proven that she is the only best to do that role. Her performance really defines the Feminism. Debut Actor Vasanth Ravi really done a good job to his character and shown the reality of  Male Domination. The storyline deals with the relationship issues in Corporate Culture and how women treated in that type of culture. The reality of current generation shown very neatly and boldly. Just the uncensored filthy words used by the characters is the only reason for 'A' Certificate. Anjali made a cameo appearance in which she given her best. Director Ram really handled the screenplay in a good and innovative manner. His commentary in between some scenes is humorous as well as thought provoking like what he did in film promotion posters. Yuvan Shankar Raja given a good contribution through his music. A Single Shot Interval Block is superb but creates a small lag in Second half, but that doesn't add a blunder to the plot.

Verdict: Really A Very Good Bold Attempt by Ram which should not missed in theatres.
