Plot - Sathya (Atharvaa) eagerly awaits for his police job confirmation. He gets appointed in the Police Control Room, where he has to attend the public calls. How the 100th call makes him find a big illegal network and what makes him put an end to it forms the crux of the story.

Positives
Atharvaa delivers a solid performance, by fitting perfect to that cop character. His energy level is really high in the action sequences. His friendship & younger sister sentiment works decently in the required portions. Hansika Motwani has played her part well, in the given limited space. 'Datho' Radharavi plays an important supporting role, where he has given his best. Yogi Babu entertains the audience with his one-liners & funny act. Late Actor 'Cheenu Mohan' plays a different role, in which he has justified it convincingly. 'Eruma Saani' Harija has utilized the space given for her and played her part well. Mime Gopi and 'Aadukalam' Naren have done their part well. All the actors have given their good support throughout the film. Krishnan Vasant's cinematography is good, in which his visuals covered the cop action perfectly. Ruben's editing looks sleek and crisp, in which he makes the film intense in the second half. Sam CS's songs are not bad. 'Among the three songs, Yei Di Raasathi' song sounds good. His background score elevates the major portions of the film to the next level. Director Sam Anton is well-known for his films like 'Darling' and 'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku'. He is back with a cop entertainer script. To give a different angle to this cop entertainer, he adds 'Police Control Room' element, in which the protagonist attends the calls and proceeds the next step from there. He has made the antagonist character to be secret, which leads this film to travel in an engaging flow. He has given importance to some commercial elements, which doesn't disturb the main content in any manner. We have seen 'Police Control Room' in many films, but it will be for a few seconds only. In this film, the director has given an extended version of it, which gives a small new experience. He also focuses on the friendship emotion and younger sister sentiment, which has been connected properly with the main plot. In the first half, the film shows Atharvaa's police dream along with the friendship bond, younger-sister sentiment & romance with Hansika in the beginning. The screenplay travels along with these elements for 30-35 minutes approximately. But, the director doesn't make the audience to get bored with it. After focusing on 'Police Control Room', the screenplay slowly creates an interest. At a point, the film becomes engaging. The interval point makes way for Atharvaa's 100th call, which has a small twist and creates an expectation for the second half. In the second half, the screenplay takes top gear, which makes us travel along with Atharvaa. There are some mass and thrilling moments, which looks very interesting. The twists and turns are convincing only. The pre-climax and climax portion can be said as the main highlight. The climax portion is really convincing, in which the final touch with a small social message looks good.

Negatives
In the first half, the film takes much time to settle into the plot. Even though the director doesn't treat the commercial elements in a boring way, few of them will get attention in the story only from the 'Police Control Room'. As usual, logical questioning arises in most of the parts. 'Agulu Bagulu' song could have been avoided in the film, which looks unnecessary. Even though the director handles the emotions in a good way, it makes a usual and normal connect only. Yes, the second half is really engaging only. Still, few moments breaks the realistic factor, which is slightly uncomfortable.

Verdict
'100 - The Movie' is really a good cop entertainer from the director Sam Anton. Atharvaa gets into the skin of that cop character easily and plays the cop game in a convincing way. 'Police Control Room' element works well in the required portions. The screenplay execution is really good in both the half. When compared to the first half, the second half looks very engaging. The above-mentioned flaws are negligible only. Even if the first half doesn't impress you completely, the second half will not disappoint you in any way. You will come out of the theatre with complete satisfaction of watching a good film. So, this film deserves 'worth watchable once' category for Atharvaa's performance and also for the second half. Without much expectations, watch the film with your family and friends in theatres.
