Plot - 'P' aka Pandya is said to be the powerful villain. How Police Officer 'Shiva' defeats him forms the crux of the story.

'Tamizh Padam 2' is the sequel to C.S.Amudhan's 'Tamizh Padam', which released in the year 2010. 'Tamizh Padam' is a turning point in Actor Shiva's film career. The film has trolled many films, which gives a complete laughter experience. Just because of the strong impact, this sequel gains attraction among the audience. The teaser and different troll posters increases the hype for this film day by day. The most expected sequel of this year finally releases today with a grand opening.

Performance of the Star Cast - Shiva carries off his character very well like what he did in the first part. His imitation of our favourite Kollywood stars guarantees a complete laughter experience. So, his screen presence easily attracts the audience and it makes them to stay connected with the film. Next to Shiva, Sathish scores well in many scenes. Like 'Dasavatharam' Kamal Haasan, he comes in different getups. With that getup itself, he makes to enjoy his characterisation. These two actors steals the show and makes the fun factor to move in a right way. Ishwarya Menon delivers her best performance. She justifies her character neatly. Kalairani scores in her portions. The first part heroine 'Disha Pandey' plays a small cameo in this film. Chetan, Santhana Bharathi, Manonbala and R.Sundar Rajan have given their best. All the other actors gives their full support to make the fun elements enjoyable.

Technical Works - Gopi Amarnath's cinematography is really good with nice visuals. T.S.Suresh's editing looks sleek and he maintains a decent screenplay flow. His editing creates a good hype for Shiva's screen presence in many troll scenes. Kannan's songs are not so good. 'Naan Yaarumila', 'Evan Da Unna Petha' and 'Kalavarame' songs creates a good attention. His standard theme music of 'Tamizh Padam' comes in different tones. His background score is not bad.

Director's Involvement With The Script - Director CS Amudhan has really worked a lot for this sequel to be more better than the first part. After a long gap, this sequel releases today. But, his presentation looks very refreshing. He trolls Kollywood, TN Politics, Hollywood and famous English TV-series 'Game of Thrones'. He understands the audience expectations, which makes him to satisfy their taste. All our favourite stars superb dialogues and mass scenes has been totally damaged by Shiva's appearance & CS Amudhan's writing. He makes to notice many small detailing in the film. Just with the strong spoof content, he makes a good connect with the audience. So, this helps in satisfying our expectations. Still, some of his content makes us to compare with the social media memes.

Screenplay Execution - In the first half, the film opens with a serious situation. After Shiva's entry scene, the film moves in an entertaining and engaging way. Later, the screenplay gives us a complete laughter experience. The entertainment factor goes on stronger, which makes the audience to die out of laughter. The interval block makes us to think more about the execution of the second half. In the second half, the film once again follows the same pattern and keeps us entertaining. Towards the climax, the film becomes more interesting. The climax portion is really hilarious. The end credits is ultimate.

Main Negatives of the Film - As it is a spoof entertainer, we cannot consider the simple storyline, duration and logical loopholes to be negatives. We have adjust with it. But, the only disturbance in the film is the placement of two songs. A romantic song and an item number by Kasthuri comes as a speed breaker. Other than that, the film doesn't deviate the interest of the audience.

Verdict
'Tamizh Padam 2' is a very good spoof entertainer by Director CS Amudhan. He satisfies us more than our expectations. From the beginning to end, Shiva and Sathish entertains us to the core with CS Amudhan's strong spoof content. The troll of Kollywood, Hollywood, TN Politics and 'Game of Thrones' TV Series works very well and it makes a strong connect with all set of audience. This sequel really looks more excellent than the first part. Watch this superb spoof entertainer with your family and friends in theatres for a complete laughter experience. This will make you to forget all your stresses.

Waiting for the confirmation about the third part from the entire team.

Note - The die-hard fans of Kollywood stars cannot easily digest the troll easily. So, I wish everyone to watch the film without taking seriously.

Cut Short Rating - 8.8/10
