When his own party members comes as an obstacle, how he tackles that forms the crux of the story.
'Bharat Ane Nenu' is a political action drama directed by Koratala Siva. Mahesh Babu and Director Koratala Siva joins hands for this film after 'Srimanthudu'.
Performance of the Star Cast - Mahesh Babu delivers a splendid performance and he defines the role of perfect CM in his own style. He steals the show just with his terrific screen presence and perfect dialogue delivery. Kiara Advani looks so pretty in every frame and she marks her debut in Tollywood neatly. She plays her part well. Prakash Raj's characterisation can be guessed easily. Still, he makes us comfort with his usual best performance. Sarath Kumar's role is like an extended cameo in the film. All the other actors in the film have done their part very well and they gives a good support to the film.
Technical Works - Ravi K Chandran and Tirru handles the cinematography work in the film. The visuals of the film looks too good. Especially, 'Vachadayyo Saami' Song is visualized in a great manner. Sreekar Prasad's editing makes way for the engaging flow in the film. Still, some of his cuts could have been better. Devi Sri Prasad gives his usual best in the songs with good music beats. His background score is really good. But, 'This is Me' BGM is used mostly.
Director's Involvement with the Script - Director Koratala Siva takes an interesting political plot and he handles the plot with a proper package of commercial entertainment. The dialogues are so hard-hitting in the film, which gets a great applause from the audience. His writing and screenplay execution is so strong, in which Mahesh Babu's screen presence gives a life to that. But, the importance given for the romance track could have been trimmed.
Screenplay Execution - In the first half, the film opens with the introduction of Mahesh Babu in the first scene itself. The film travels into the engaging track, when Mahesh Babu takes charge as the chief minister. Except the romantic track, the screenplay is so entertaining. We can relate many social issues with our day-to-day life, which the film deals with. The interval point looks good with a bang of powerful dialogues. In the second half, the film focuses on some action sequences. The screenplay is maintained on the right track till 'O Vasumathi' song. Later, the film has some small lagging issues. Towards the climax, the film has mass action sequences to cherish the Mahesh's action. The climax is a good one, but it could have been better.
Main Negatives of the Film - The film has some commercial elements, which looks good in some parts. In some places, it slightly drags the content. Many logical loopholes are there in the film. The importance given for the romantic track could have been less. Even though the stunts are so terrific, it looks unbelievable. Still, it provides a good entertainment for the audience. The strong impact given by the director will make you forgive these flaws.
Verdict
'Bharat Ane Nenu' is a very good political action drama, in which the political content is driven in a very entertaining way. The screenplay is engaging with powerful dialogues. The commercial entertainment package in few parts could have been avoided. Still, the strong political plot along with Mahesh's screen presence makes this film to deserve 'must-watch once' category. Go and Enjoy the Charming Appearance of Mahesh Babu in the film.
