Plot - How Indian RAW Agent 'Tiger' and ISI Agent 'Zoya' rescued the nurses with their team, who were held as hostage by Iraq Terrorists forms the crux of the story. This is based on a true incident happened in the year 2014.
'Tiger Zinda Hai' is the second franchise after 'Ek Tha Tiger', in the installment of 'Tiger' series.
Performance of the Star Cast - Salman Khan delivered a superb performance and looked so energetic in every terrific action sequences. Katrina Kaif had a strong characterisation with equal importance to Salman Khan. She stole the show with power packed stunts. The other lead actors delivered a natural performance and scored well in their portions. The entire cast were so supportive to the storyline throughout the film.
Technical Works - Marcin's cinematography was the biggest plus, in which his visuals gave a realistic feel. Rameshwar Bhagat's editing was so good. Another biggest plus was the background score by Julius Packiam, where it developed high intensity to the engaging screenplay.
Director's Involvement with the Script - Director Ali Abbas had done a great research for the script of Tiger's second installment. From the collected information, he was able to write the script for the comfort of the audience in fulfilling to the core. Especially, he satisfied the fans of Salman Bhai with good mass elements in those stunts. He also added some humour elements with the flow of the storyline.
Screenplay Execution - In the beginning itself, the plot gets into the main track. After few minutes, Salman Bhai's screen presence increased the curiosity and made the screenplay so engaging. Without any unnecessary sequences, the screenplay was focused only on the main track. The interval block was so superb with stunning action sequences. In the second half, the director tested our patience for a while. Later, the gripping factor gets stronger and maintained a good level of interest. The climax was a guessable one, but it will give you many goosebumps moments.
Main Negatives - In this film, the director failed to concentrate in the logic loopholes. Because of those errors, some detailing works were missing. In the second half, the lagging made an issue by traveling in a slow pace. Some stunts were unbelievable, but Salman Khan's appearance will make you forget about these flaws.
Verdict
'Tiger Zinda Hai' is a perfect action thriller for all kind of audience to get entertained. Salman Bhai will make you forget those mentioned flaws. So, it deserves a must watch once for a great action.
