Plot - How Krishna finds the slipper of his one-side love Sandhya, who lost it in a crowded bus forms the crux of the story.
We all loved Director Pandiraj's 'Pasanga' film, which is one of the good successful small budget films till date. In that film, Pandi (a) Pakkada Pandi made us laughed with his funny acts and stole the show. Now, he is introduced as a hero with a new name 'Tamizh' in 'En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom'. During this title launch, many memes were spreading in the social media with this funny title. Later on, it became an advantage for the film. Anandhi is one of the cutest actresses in Kollywood. Her presence added as another advantage to the film. The film have a good star cast, which made the trailer to impress us a little bit. Finally, the film released yesterday in screens.
Tamizh made a good debut as hero in this film. He delivered a neat performance and scored well in the scenes, where he was given space to perform. Especially, his emotional expressions of one-side love was nice. Ananthi looked cute in every scene and she performed well in her portions. She scored well in those emotional scenes towards her father, played by Jayaprakash Sir. Yogi Babu's humour convinced us and also to enjoy his scenes with a very good humour. Abirami played as Ananthi's friend and did her part well. Bala Saravanan, KS Ravikumar, Livingstone and Singam Puli played like an extended cameo appearance in this film. But still, they gave justice to their part and showed their support towards the film. The story revolves around in Cuddalore area. The cinematography work by Sukaselvan was really nice and he shot the visuals of the location in a very beautiful manner. Especially, the visuals of the rainy scenario looked beautiful. The editing work by Manigandan was good. The songs composed by Ishaan Dev was good, in which 'Iravil Varugira' song was mindblowing. The background score work by Deepan was so pleasant with the romance subject. The plot looks very simple, but an interesting one. The director tried his level best to give a wonderful romantic subject in a decent mannerism. He tried to show the madness of one-side love in an unique way. It worked well in some scenes. In that, he won half the race. In the first half, he didn't take too much to get into the plot. In the first scene itself, he directly entered into the plot. The story and the connectivity behind the missing of slipper was good. The screenplay execution was good with proper balance of humour and emotions. Some lagging issues takes place in between. The hero's search for the missing slipper was good upto some extent. The interval block was not that much stronger. In the second half, the screenplay had some little bit deviations from the plot. After that, the screenplay get into it's track. The madness of love was good in the beginning and becomes silly at a point. The dragging could have been avoided. They came up like coming to the end of the film at a point. But still, they extended to 10-15 mins and then only came to the climax part . The climax was really convincing with a good twist. After the end of the film, we will feel like something missing in this film. Still, it's a decent romantic comedy entertainer which can be enjoyed once.
Verdict - An usual romantic comedy entertainer was tried in an interesting manner. But some flaws disturbed it's flow little bit. Overall, it's a very decent romantic comedy entertainer which doesn't shrink your face to express your boredom feel. This film deserves a decent one-time watchable category for an interesting attempt.
Cut Short Rating - 7.3/10
