Plot - Detective Kaniyan Poonkundran gets an interesting case of solving the mystery behind a murdered dog. That case leads to many unexpected different knots in his investigation. How Kaniyan Poonkundran deals it and closed the case forms the crux of the story.

After Pisasu film, Director Mysskin took a long break from Kollywood and given a comeback with an interesting crime thriller script. Vishal, who was highly criticized in social media for his continuous commercial flicks joined hands with Mysskin Sir for the first time. The film has wonderful casting and crew which increased the curiosity of the general audience. I appreciate Mysskin sir for handling this crime thriller without any songs. The characterization of both protagonist and antagonist was sketched with inspiration of 'Sherlock Holmes' Series. Vishal fitted well as a detective and did justice to that character. In this film, his dialogue modulation was differed from his previous films. Prasanna came as a supporting actor and gave his best. Andrea, who scored a lot with her dialogue delivery in Taramani, delivered the same but in action sequences. Anu made a good debut with her neat performance in her given space. Legendary Director Bhagyaraj sir completely changed his appearance and gave his best. Actor Vinay gave his good style in villainism and he was utilized well by the director. Whenever Arrol Corelli's background score comes, the scene gets more intense and added a great pulse to it. As the screenplay was executed with his usual slow manner, our patience is must to get connected with core of the plot. Stunt sequences were really superb and interesting. Every detailing and research of Mysskin in the screenplay made a strong foundation for the film. As the gripping factor was stronger, the negatives just fades away from our mind. Just some lags in between can be considered as the negatives. The finishing touch by Mysskin was mindblowing. I wish Vishal to do these type of scripts in future without any commercial angle in it.

Verdict - A Very Good Masterpiece from Mysskin which engaged us without getting bored feel in this lengthy duration. A Crime Thriller filled with full of positivity really deserves a must watch in theatres.

Cut Short Rating - 8.7/10
