Plot - Shiva, a secret Intelligence Bureau agent taps public's phone calls and saves them from the problem before it occurs. Once, he comes to know about a dangerous threat from a psychopath person who tries to kill people for his satisfaction. How he saves the people from him?

After 2014's Biggest Hit 'Kaththi', A.R.Murugadoss was little bit busy in producing some films. In between this time, he researched some things and made a wonderful commercial entertainer script with a good content. For the first time, he joined hands with Tollywood Superstar 'Mahesh Babu' for this bilingual film. The teaser and trailer of the film already created a good hype among the general audience. Mahesh Babu made a complete tamil debut in a very good way. His screen presence throughout the film was so superb. He dubbed in his own voice. In some scenes, his expressions were good, but at the same time he struggled to bring it out. If you see performance wise, SJ Suryah is at the peak. The way he expressed the evilness was really stunning and it will make you dumbstruck. After Iraivi, he is highly focusing on his peformance and he made the audience to go crazy for him. Some little shades of 'The Dark Knight' Joker character was seen in his body language. The flashback portions of SJ Suryah was very different. Rakul Preet Singh came as an usual heroine just for romantic portions. RJ Balaji just came as a support for Mahesh Babu in his rescue works and he did a good justice to that role. The director didn't give him the space to perform with his one-liners. Bharath's portions was just like a cameo space and he delivered his usual performance. Harris Jeyaraj's songs were not impressive but his terrific background score was awesome. The director made a strong gripping factor in the screenplay where romantic scenes and songs came as a speed breaker in it. The experimentation work of Murugadoss worked well but at the same time it went wrong in some scenes. The CG works was not upto the mark. In second half, Mahesh Babu's trap to catch SJ Suryah with the help of 'Saravanan Meenatchi' Serial Fans (Ladies) was really superb. That scene had a little bit reflection of Jagadish's 12 Terrorists Mission scene from the film 'Thupakki'. A.R.Murugadoss's usual touch was really good. In some scenes, the screenplay falls flat. Some major logical errors were here and there. The climax was focused on heroism factor where SJ Suryah lost his scope to perform there. The final touch with humanity by Murugadoss was really nice. The flaws can be considered as a minor mistake not as a great blunder.

Verdict - The film had some flaws which disturbed the good flow of storyline. If you keep those flaws aside and watch the film, you will really like it. This Spy Thriller deserves a decent one-time must watch category. Go for it to enjoy the screen presence of Mahesh Babu and SJ Suryah.

Cut Short Rating - 8/10
