Plot - The three women, who were best friends in their college times gets separated after their marriage life. A documentary filmmaker unites these women and takes them on a trip to take a break from their family for few days. How the trip gets interesting and emotional forms the crux of the story.

Director Bramma, who won National Award for his debut film 'Kuttam Kadithal' took a break after that and made a comeback with a women centric film script. Jyothika, a favourite actress of all ages had impressed us with her natural performance in her comeback film '36 Vayadhinile'. I appreciate her for focusing only on woman centric films. When she was impressed with Bramma's story narration, she signed 'Magalir Mattum' under her husband's production. Along with Jyothika, veteran actresses Oorvasi, Bhanupriya and Saranya Ponvannan joined hands with Bramma which created an entertaining positive vibe for this women centric film among the family audience. Jyothika had done a great job in her part. She shined in every frame and very energetic throughout the film. The veteran actresses made a great comeback, and their performance was so convincing and very entertaining. Oorvasi Ma'am did a great job in humour and it really worked well. Saranya Ponvannan Ma'am and Bhanu Priya Ma'am portrayed the housewife characterization in a realistic manner. Livingston Sir and Nasser Sir had a less presence, but still managed to give their best. Ghibran's Music was so pleasant and gave a good feel throughout the film. The cinematography was too good, and selection of locations were also nice. Director Bramma's screenplay made us sit throughout the film without any diversion. Editing part had some issues in between the flow, which could have been better. Director handled some social issues in between the storyline flow, which was good. The friendship bond between those ladies were so good. His paperwork on male domination was good, but it was over exaggerated in some scenes. The pain of every housewife was shown very realistic. Director dealt feminism part in a very good manner, and some dialogues about it were really superb. He kept many delightful moments in the film. Some scenes in the film looked like not connective with the storyline flow. Some cinematic techniques were also there, but it didn't affect the film. We were able to guess the climax, but the final touch given by the director was awesome. Suriya has to produce more good films like this, and also he should extend his support to upcoming directors. If we keep some flaws aside, we can really enjoy this family drama.

Verdict - Director Bramma presented a wonderful family drama which made us cherish in many moments. Forget those flaws and celebrate womanhood, you will really like it. The movie is not only for ladies, men should also watch.
